DOCTOR FATE #17 by Paul Levitz and Brendan McCarthy. Khalid and Akila are protesting outside of Freedom Tower when he notices threads coming out of everyone’s head. He turns into Doctor Fate and follows the threads to some spider creatures that call themselves The Dreamspinners. The threads lead back to a giant worm called Clothorus.
Khalid winds up back at the Sphinx, who tells him he must embrace Clothorus and her children to save Akila.

EARTH 2 SOCIETY #17 by Dan Abnett and Bruno Redondo. The world we knew has ended and the surviving heroes are existing in an empty white void. Fury believes she has destroyed the world, even as a mysterious voice claims that cohesion will begin in eighty seven minutes. In the end, the team gets attacked by duplicates of Sandman. Luckily they get saved by Val-Zod.

SIX PACK & DOG WELDER HARD TRAVELIN HEROEZ #3 by Garth Ennis and Russ Braun. Dogwelder is at the bar with Sixpack, Constantine and the rest of Section Eight. Dogwelder ends up going to the house of his ex-wife where he tells her that he still loves her. Section Eight arrives on a cosmic surfboard, just as Dogwelder realizes that his ex-wife loves her new husband and that he is scaring the children. Constantine blasts the family with a ray that makes them gain amnesia and then the team heads to the pyramids of Egypt. Once inside one of the pyramids, they see hieroglyphics of an Ancient Egyptian welder creating Anubis. And that’s when the angry mummies show up!

SUICIDE SQUAD’S MOST WANTED: EL DIABLO AND BOOMERANG  #3 by ai Nitz, Cliff Richards, Christopher Sebela and Brian Level. In the opener, El Diablo and Azucar are being attacked by Vulcan and luckily Deadshot takes Vulcan’s ship out. After Azucar reveals her origin, she and Santana have sex and then he heads off to Cluemaster’s place to steal the Checkmate laptop. Unfortunately, he’s a little late as Catwoman gets to it before him. The two fight it out before Cluemaster convinces her to let him take it, so long as he uses the laptop to hurt Waller. He and Azucar head over to Ace Chemicals where Sin Tzu and his band of transform meta-humans ambush them. In the back-up, Killer Croc ends up on an island filled with monsters on a mission for Amanda Waller. The terrorists on the island are threatening to destroy the place when he bursts in with the creatures. Cut off from Waller’s control, Croc is about to take matters into his own hands.
