EARTH 2 SOCIETY #19 by Dan Abnett and Bruno Redondo. The Wonders snag a copy of the Daily Planet to find out what is going on and then decide to dress in normal clothes and try to blend in. Meanwhile, Sergeant Steel takes Batman, Huntress and John Grayson to a underground base where, with a group he calls The Movement, he fights against the Central Control. And it seems that the Ultra-Humanite is the head of Central Control.
SIX PACK & DOG WELDER HARD TRAVELIN' HEROEZ #5 by Garth Ennis and Russ Braun. We find Constantine and Section Eight in an Egyptian motel where the TV news is reporting that stars Sirius A and Sirius B are on a collision course and that will destroy the galaxy. But the JLA might be able to save us all…maybe. But Section Eight heads to NASA, knock out some astronauts and make their way onto the space shuttle that is going off to stop this thing from happening.
SUICIDE SQUAD’S MOST WANTED: EL DIABLO AND AMANDA WALLER #5 by Jai Nitz, Cliff Richards, Vita Ayala and Mart Mernoff. El Diablo, Azucar, and Xolotl, who is really a White Martian, are battling a version of the Suicide Squad when ¡Justicia!, Mexico’s answer to the Justice League, shows up. They’re here to capture Xolotl, but they’re a little late as he dies from his injuries. This leads to El Diablo heading off to take on Dalesko. Before he can get there, Deadshot shows up and fires two bullets into El Diablo’s heart. In the Amanda Waller story, the Suicide Squad have been sent into Eastern Europe to get Phillip Weiss out. They manage to get Weiss out, but the Squad all show up deceased on her monitor. And Waller-she is oozing black gunk from her eyes and mouth.
